Glad you're back Stephen. I've missed your excellent writing. I agree with much of what you've written here, especially with your assertion that local activism is vital.

Irish Republicanism has long been a supporter of justice in Palestine, and understand that the three "I's"-Ireland, Israel and India were projects of British imperialism where partition, and the fostering of sectarian divisions and conflict served the aims of Empire. The poor loyalists don't realise they are being used, but that's not our problem. The whole left/right trope is another tool of division-the powers that shouldn't be know that the division is them and all of us. Keep writing.

Politics is intellectual debate. Destiny is nationalism, the continuation of the tribe in its homeland. Politics can be turned on and off like a tap for the betterment of the national family.

Could not agree more with you this whole left/right trope is imported nonsense to sow division given that the only real politic in the South has always been of the civil war variety and a protest vote, this has always been the cruz of controlling voting blocks in the South now that, that politic is waning they import this left right nonsense.

And given that most Irish are what would be traditionally seen as centre left liberals now being called far right brings the nonsense full circle.

Once we were just Irish people with opinions and we need to get back there again.

Thank you Stephen for an insightful and clarifying piece. I agree 100% on the pernicious zionist influence. I respect the true nationalists like yourself and Patrick Quinlan. I see the Nation being torn asunder day by day by the sleveen puppeticians, media and their acolytes but I am heartened by the patriots who are rising above the fog of a cognitive war to hoist the standard of a true nationalism worth following. For me there has to be a Christian ethos. The majority of our historical heroes since the time of St Patrick campaigned with the spirit of the Milvian Bridge, "in hoc signo vinces". God has to be higher than country but they can be in harmony.

If we can establish a self sufficient nationalism here that doesn't rely on siding with a foreign entity then we will win.

Thank you Stephen. Yet again, you've clarified several things for me. I've only read it once but intend reading it again as soon as I can. In my opinion, you are the most astute political observer and commentator we have in this country. I am sincerely grateful for your knowledge, research and insights.

I agree with Una, I’ll read again. Thank you Stephen, I watched the Unionists join the battle and hadn’t realised this was the plan. This also explains other missing pieces of the jigsaw. Glad you’re back

Entryism has always been a tactic by malign forces to weaken, disrupt ,deceive, distract and lead a movement down the wrong fork in the road.

Nationalist leaders need sensitive antennae to prevent this ocurring.

Justin Barrettt was always conscious of this frailty in a young movement ,and was a canny operator ,

Alas he committed political hari-kari when he veered down the wrong fork and left the Nationalist movement behind him.

A sad case of a talent that would have been more effective as an adviser and not as a Leader.

But his legacy is the many young men he attracted to the Irish National cause and who were made politically aware of the rocky road to attain power and overcome the many obstacles to success.

There will be many setback.frustratons and disappointments ,but the Nationalist movement must keep fixated on the target of attaining political power by the neccessity to educate and inform a dumbed down electorate.

The Irish Media as a fully controlled and bought propaganda machine of the Regime is where our primary battle is to be fought.

Never in the history of activism has there been so many tools available to Activists to promote their message and gain the advantage thru Social Media, especially to the disaffected youth

This where the initial field of battle lies and we must use it effectively.

Barrett would have been an amazing parliamentarian if it wasn’t for the nihilism and fondness of German far right ideology. Plenty of Irish historical figures and movements to model ourselves off and take inspiration from. The new breed are far more normal and appealing without sacrificing on nationalist values.

You may want to look into the past record of previous Sinn Fein party conferences (Ard Feis). Specifically, the 1998 forwarded and passed an item via vote concerning their stances on immigration in the wake of the Good Friday Agreement:

http://www.sinnfein.org/ardfheis/98ardfheis/je.html public ballot 19th of April 1998

”Sinn Fein views with concern the increasing emergence of openly racist sentiment in Ireland. We support the calls for an immediate amnesty for all asylum seekers in the 26 counties. Sinn Fein will work for the achievement of the optimum position of no restriction on immigration in Ireland.”

I cannot see how the migrant import racket is over - or won as U say. So long as billions of our €uro are voted through our annual budget by these TD's in to importing welfare wanderers to our country, so the racket will continue. It's plundering of our public money that triggers parasitic irish get rich quick opportunist gangs - for that's all they are IMHO.

What I am saying in this article is that our effect on it, our effect on changing peoples minds is at an end. The general public are now in play on migration. We succeeded. The continuing reality of it is an enduring blight but it now has a shelf life thanks to us.

I agree that there has never been a far right in Ireland. Not established. Not institutional. Nationalism is above politics. It's self preservation.

It's good to decompress these things for yourself in your own way.

Cathartic and releasing of self at the same time.
