Gadolinium is a poison and difficult to detox... Impossible for individuals with MTHFR mutations (40% of the population have one or more mutations)... I get regular MRIs WITHOUT contrast.
You can ask your doctor to refer sans contrast or get a DNA test to determine your MTHFR status before agreeing to take the gadolinium.
Health care providers are slowly beginning to understand that there are many procedures that are NOT "one size fits all".

6 months ago I did have contrast dye injected at a clinic. I was strangled in a domestic violence crime and the doctor ordered a scan of my head and neck.
