One of the problems I have observed with the “conservative” end of our movement is the overlap with conflicting values that we campaign on so dearly. Queerness creeps in as you exit the working class circles and move into the wealthier aspects of our fractured collective. So too does the apologist attitudes towards religious freakery and indeed, sexual perversion. I became acutely aware of the latter when I witnessed Sharon Keoghan posting a selfie with disgraced former Senator David Norris. Keogan, a woman who sells herself as a champion of the anti-woke movement, hypocritically echoes the concerns of the Irish working class who are concerned about the sexualisation of our children. The reason for this hyper-sexualisation is identified by us as an attempt to create a generation of children that express premature notions of reproductive competency and therefore a contrived need to legislate to meet that credulous demand by lowering the age of consent. Some believe they want to remove the age of consent altogether. I am of that belief. Keogan’s rhetoric on this topic would lead you to believe she opposes this yet she chose to take this selfie with a man who she described as a “National Treasure”.
What drives a Senator who campaigns on the topics that she does to not only share oxygen with this self admitted pedophile, but to refer to him as a national treasure!? For me the answer lies clearly in the fact that Keogan attributes her presence in the Seanad to Norris. He opened the door for her and now Laois De Brún wants to follow in her footsteps. These champions of age appropriate sex-ed seem to think that we are all stupid. They appear to think that we will see this filthy bastards name in and amongst their campaign material and social media and just let it slide?
If Laois De Brún’s path to the Seanad involves whitewashing and massaging David Norris’s disgusting character then she is no friend of Irish children. To show you exactly what I mean, I will paste the “controversy” section of his Wikipedia below.
Fairytale of Kathmandu

On 11 March 2008, Norris called for the broadcast of the documentary Fairytale of Kathmandu (scheduled to be shown that evening on RTÉ) to be postponed. The film documented visits to Nepal by Irish poet Cathal Ó Searcaigh, during which he had sex with young boys. It questioned whether he was sexually exploiting the boys or engaging in child sex tourism. Norris criticised that the film had been leaked beforehand and that Ó Searcaigh had been treated harshly by the media before its broadcast. He announced to the Seanad that the film should be checked for factuality because he claimed that "public money" had been spent on it. The issue was conveyed to Deputy John Cregan, the Chairman of the Joint Committee on Communications, Energy and Natural Resources.[89]
Easter Rising comments
An article in The Sunday Times claimed that Norris had, on more than one occasion, denounced the leaders of the 1916 Easter Rising as "terrorists".[14] In May 2011, Norris denied that article's claim also, saying "That's not true, it's a slur, and it's not fair on me. Terrorists are people who use civilian casualties to advance a political end. The men of 1916 produced the proclamation, addressed equally – in an age when women didn't have the vote – to 'Irishmen and Irishwomen', that's wonderful!".[90] The newspaper printed a retraction.
Criticism of Pope John Paul II
Norris has made statements about Catholic social teaching on homosexuality, particularly in relation to the Papacy. He criticised Pope John Paul II's statements on homosexuality because he said they led to anti-gay violence, saying that the pope was an "instrument for evil as far as I'm concerned because these constant, unremitting, ignorant, ill-informed attacks on the gay community have led to violence against the gay community". Norris also described the pope's position as "calculated and deliberate wickedness" because he "closes down scholarly enquiry" and because he "marginalised all the wonderful people like Oscar Romero, Leonardo Boff, Hans Kung, Charles Curran, all these marvellous people who are the future and the hope of the Church and, instead, put into place these mindless bureaucrats, which is intensely sad."[91] Commenting on then Cardinal Ratzinger, he said, "Ratzinger, who is, in his mind-set, a Nazi" because he is "afraid to tell the truth," and because he and John Paul II "won't even let themselves be in the presence of the truth, because it would shatter their very stylised view of things."[91] He later stated that he regretted using the term "Nazi" in reference to Ratzinger.[92]
2002 Magill magazine interview
In a January 2002 interview for politics/current affairs magazine Magill, Norris discussed the age of consent, incest, paedophilia and pederasty.[16][93][94] The interviewer, restaurant critic Helen Lucy Burke, said, "I found some of his views on sexual matters deeply disturbing – notably on sex with minors".[95] According to Burke, Norris didn't seem to support a minimum age of consent. When asked "Where would you draw the line?" Norris replied, "I would hope we could produce a society where people would be inclined to draw lines for themselves".[96] On 30 May 2011, Burke was a guest on the talk radio show Liveline. Burke said that she had read the article to Norris before its publication and that he had wholeheartedly endorsed what was written. During the show, it was noted that the Magill article had been reported in a newspaper shortly after publication. The newspaper, Ireland on Sunday, went with the headline "Senator Backs Sex With Children". Burke claimed that, when Norris saw the reaction to the interview, he "back-tracked" and denied saying what had been quoted. She also called Norris' views "evil" and "against the law".[97]
According to Norris, he was only read two paragraphs of the interview before publication, and he asked for corrections to be made to those paragraphs, and these corrections were not made.[98] In a May 2011 statement on his presidential campaign website, Norris affirmed "I did not ever and would not approve of the finished article as it appeared". Norris asserts that he and Burke engaged in an "academic discussion about Classical Greece and sexual activity in a historical context; it was a hypothetical, intellectual conversation" and that the "presentation of references to sexuality in the article attributed to me were misleading in that they do not convey the context in which they were made".[99] Norris also spoke about the Magill profile in an interview with Joe Jackson for the Sunday Independent, in which he refutes the allegations, saying he responded in "horror", and that "it so completely misrepresents everything I said. In the interview I said I cannot understand how anyone would consider it appropriate to have sex with children".[100] During the initial interview on 30 May 2011, Burke explained on Liveline that she had "a tape somewhere around but I can't find it, it's twelve years old and I don't know whether it would be viable now". Also, when Burke was asked if she had a tape while being interviewed on RTÉ News: Six One on 31 May 2011 by Caitríona Perry, Perry asserted that "despite originally believing that she had a recording of the interview, Helen Lucy Burke is now not so sure". Burke explained, "I don't think so, I thought I had a taped cassette, but it turns out that it was in the one, I wasn't able to open it because it was a different length from the one in my existing cassette box". When Caitríona Perry asked "Do you think you have a tape anywhere else", Burke replied, "it could be under the mountains of stuff that came down when my ceiling came in". In the last days of the campaign the tape was released and according to the Irish Independent, Ms. Burke "said yesterday she found the tape recently but only released it in the last days of the campaign for "impact." She said, "it would give people something to think about when they went to the polls."[96]
As you can see, David Norris holds the very worst of positions on adult/child sexual relationships. A man such as him gatekeeping the Seanad is obviously a bad thing but it does expose the sincerity of those who purport to be our saviours. It is as clear as day that there seems to be an Epstein or Saville like situation here with Norris. He has been able to force media outlets to retract factual stories seemingly at will and force his peers to treat him like some delicate knowledgable benign gay man. Precious. He has been able to rub shoulders with Irelands intelligentsia despite his well documented depravity and garner their adoration. What is also well documented, is his disdain for Irish Nationalism and it’s hero’s. In his biography, A Kick Against The Pricks, Norris asserts that IRA founder Michael Collins was a homosexual. Norris, a high ranking member of the Church of Ireland (Protestant), had no shame whatsoever in his baseless claims which went relatively unpunished by Irish society. His attempts to destroy the Archetypical Catholic and Nationalist Machismo of Collins was an attack on the men of Ireland who would put him and his ilk in their place.
There are many more stories about David Norris which would turn your stomach. Even the demeanour of the man, his cadence, it is enough to send the hairs standing on the back of your neck. A threat to the innocence of children personified and described as “evil” by the woman who interviewed him in that now historic Magill profile mentioned above. David Norris is certainly on the shortlist for Ireland’s dirtiest bastard so what in the name of Christ almighty is Sharon Keogan and Laoise De Brún playing at? I believe that we deserve answers as De Brún has been inserting herself at the forefront of many campaigns that the Irish people care for dearly as well as styling herself as a campaigner for the preservation of childhood innocence.
If elected to the Seanad, De Brún will have to pay the piper and pose for a selfie with Norris. She will attempt normalise his name and imagery among her followership in exchange for position and monetary gain. All ventures in aid of preservation of the age of consent are comprimised with De Brún if she is relying on Norris and his lobby to get elected. She will, at the very minimum be hesitant to go against Norris as she will be under compliment to him or else she is actually fully aware of his barely hidden efforts to advance the legalisation of paedophilia in Ireland and completely supports it. To nail this whole thing down and make sure you grasp these points I am making, I want to show you absolute evidence that Norris is the man I am saying he is. Here is an extract from an IrishCentral.ie article that will make you as angry as I am at Laoise De Brún for callously using this man’s name proudly in her campaign material.
“He released the safest letters to be published. The ones that made people angry included stuff that wasn’t appropriate. It was stuff similar to what had been in the Helen Lucy Burke interview – more controversial views on underage sex.”
The Mail on Sunday uncovered the minutes of the first meeting of the Union for Sexual Freedom in the National Library of Ireland on May 10, 1975. The minutes stated “David said as a child it had been his greatest desire to be molested so he, more than most people, knows the rarity of the homosexual child molester.”
The newspaper also mentions Norris’ support for a pro-pedophile organization in the 1980s called the Paedophile Information Exchange. Norris was a founding member of the International Gay Association in the 1980s and passed two motions.
“One called for the abolition of the age of consent, whilst the second called for an international solidarity campaign on behalf of the Paedophile Information Exchange.
“At the time of the letter, members of exchange were being prosecuted for ‘conspiracy to corrupt public morals’ over ads that appeared in a magazine that were alleged to have promoted indecent acts between adults and children.”
The report continues “One letter [from the International Gay Association] seeking support for the exchange, dated May 13, 1981, said: ‘PIE is an organization set up in the ‘70s with two aims: to provide a counseling and support service for isolated paedophiles, and to campaign against the legal and social oppression of paedophilia”.
After you have cleaned up the vomit and smoked a cigarette, after you have checked in on your children to see if they are sleeping ok, I want you to ask the following question of Laoise De Brún:
Why is David Norris, a confirmed Pedophile Internet Exchange advocate who wants to remove the age of consent, your declared hero and further to that, why do you think you have any right to be a Senator of the Irish Republic, campaigning on childhood innocence no less, if this man is your inspiration?
Laoise De Brún’s contact details are :
I want to be very clear here. There is no answer that De Brún can give that will satisfy you. The deed is done but please put her under pressure to answer this. Many of my regular readers will be aware that I do not want us to continue limping on with these charlatans loitering around the periphery of this movement and I hope you feel the same about this too. I will finish this article with a YouTube video of David Norris’s send off earlier this year as he retired. Vile.
Norris also sought clemency, leaning on the weight of his status as a public official, for his Israeli boyfriend convicted of having sex with a 15 year old boy.
Great spot. Good article. You're doing extremely well.
DeBruin us not around long enough to know the self interested role these sicko activists played when pushing their queen bullshit in our faces. I remember Norris leading one of the first "pride" parades down O'connell St. Myself and a friend had gone into Dublin on our day off to a Chinese restaurant that was upstairs. I hadn't a clue what was going on when this convertible Morris Minor drove by with Norris standing up in the back with a top hat on. What followed was transvites/drag Queens on flat bed trailers who were disgusting creatures. I'm sure that was in the late 80s but not certain. Norris had rte documentaries about his and his lover and I'm sure he got his house in North Great George's St done up in one of the house makeover shows. If this lady can't see who this creep is then I have to say I'm very disappointed in her lack of research. 🙏🙏🇮🇪
