No Irish Need Apply

A pub in Waterford has done the unthinkable.

A landmark pub in Waterford City has become embroiled in a scandal so Anti-Irish, so infuriatingly ungrateful, that when you read the finer details of this situation you will feel like going straight to the place and burying the door a kick. It has been reported that a dirty, cowardly ungrateful Ukrainian deserter, has taken up the lease on Tierney’s Bar in recent months and has made the lives of long serving staff a living nightmare. Yesterday, this poor helpless immigrant who fled his home country, fired all of his Irish staff after telling them they are closing down, only to reopen hours later with a full line up of cheap Ukrainian labour. This is what is being reported all over social media at least.

This is an act of subjugation over us as a people. At a minimum, there is enough provocation here to justify a severe response. The Ukrainian community remain silent about this 24 hours later indicating they are going to remain quiet about it. Filth is all I have to say. They have lost all respect with me. They sold out their own country to NATO and the EU and are now here stealing and bullying their way up the ladder. A change.org petition was started last month by (I presume) the staff that have been fired outlining the treatment endured by them under this foreign leaseholder. Not Long Ago This Pub Was Taken Over By Lease Ownership & Since Taken Over Has Ran A One Much Loved Bar Man Out Of Hes Much Loved Job Hes Been In Since This Pub Was Originally kervicks.He was bullied By New Forgin Orginated Lease Owner Untill He Could Take No More & At Over 60 Had Enough Of Been Treated Like Shit For Doing Hes Job, This Same New Lease Owner Is Trying To Bully The Rest Of This Hard Working Team Out Of Their Jobs, Amazing Cleaner Whos Been Cleaning Premises For Last 10 + Years Shes Practically Apart Of Furniture , Assistant Manager Who No Matter What Time Of Year It Is Works Hes Hard To Tent To And Put Smiles On Every Costomer That Walks In, No Matter What Has Humour Bout Him & Smile On Hes Face Even Sticks Money To Hes Forehead For Good Measure To Remember All 15+ Orders In One lol , The Manager That Was Originally Started As Bar Person Was Givin The Task Of Goin To O learys Hospitality To Run & Manage Other Premises , Prendergasts The Quay New Ross ,The Sportsman Ramsgrange Wexford ,And Was Brought Back To Bring Tierneys Back To The Pub It Once Was & Thanks To Him & Hes Team They All Did It, Including Resident DJ Deano Who Worked Tiredlessly All Year Around To Do Differernt Themed Nights To Offer All Types Of Music To All Ages All Year Around ,That All The Locals Love To See Has A Smile & Hug For Everyone Walks Through The Door .

I Hope All Together We Can Stop This Pub From Becoming Another (Forgin Statistic To Make Money At Any Expence Includin Buying From Offlicences & Charging Full Pub Price, Doing Away With Much Loved Drink Offers That All Love & Has Kept Pub Going Even In Hard Times ( That We Ant Out Of Yet ) Stoping Good Bands ,Djs, Music Because They Dont Meet Hes Price List, The List Goes On & Unless We Put A Stop To This Together We Can Kiss Goodbye To Another Much Loved Irish Pub & I Personally Think Enough Is Enough & Im Not Willing To Let Go Without A Fight So I Hope Each & Everyone Will See The Seriousness In This & Help Protect The Jobs Of Not Just Bar Men , Cleaners ,Managers ,Dj. This petition was started on November 14th, a month before the news broke that all had been fired. I still recommend sharing the petition and signing it to show your support and bringing attention to this issue.

Tierney’s Bar is situated in the notorious drinking haunt of Ballybricken. Ballybricken is a large square area with landmark pubs situated all around it. It is away from the quay and shopping areas of the town which helped preserve its local feel. It is the Waterford man’s drinking place as far as the town is concerned as the bars and nightclubs in the town itself are always full of students and tourists but not BallyBricken. That is where the Irish soul of the city goes to drink. I spent a lot of time up around Ballybricken myself while in college and I often had a pint in this place. Places like this are being targeted, no doubt to avail of the empty rooms upstairs for further IPAS profiteering, is some of the worst kind of greed imaginable. They will wipe out our Irish pubs if this is allowed. Most of our pubs are already in the hands of some of the most despicably weak men in this country who would sell out in seconds for the rub of the green or worse again, would roll over for these foreign pigs under the least bit of intimidation. The blood is in the water either way as it has been done. Our only recourse here is militant action against this individual and premises. It goes without saying that a boycott and protest needs to take place.

Other action we can take from farther afield is to destroy the online ratings of this premises. The Google ratings for this premises are already bad but we can make them unsalvageable.

The old adage of “No Irish Need Apply” is resurrected in light of this recent development. In the same week that Cllr Patrick Quinlan caused a meltdown in Dublin City council merely by asking for the housing figures, we now have an example of a cowardly, draft dodging scumbag exploiting our system and our people to enrich himself. This would never have been tolerated in the old days before woke brainwashing but we are now faced with a dispondent general public who won’t bat an eye at this. It is up to those who will react to this to do it. You must react. You must get angry and take action to put these animals down.

This Ukrainian “man” needs to be named and shamed. I will go one further. Contact should be made with the Ukrainian embassy here and this man’s location provided so that he may be picked up and sent back home to fight for his people.
