Yesterday, October 7th, the world woke up to disturbing news. According to establishment news outlets, Hamas attacked Israel launching 5000 rockets and infiltrating Israels borders with thousands of militants. The evidence for all of this remains difficult to establish. As people on our wavelength know by now you can’t belief a single fucking narrative anymore, and the counter narrative equally so. As bad as the events in Israel/Palestine are, there is battle for the minds of the Irish people right now and also a worrying aspect of our own political situation up north that has to be discussed. This battle I talk of is the demands of Ireland’s establishment and their MSM that you fall into one camp or another. That one side is evil, and one side is not. This is called a False Dilemma Fallacy or a false dichotomy.
A false dilemma, also referred to as false dichotomy or false binary, is an informal fallacy based on a premise that erroneously limits what options are available. Right now your Twitter feeds and circle of friends are tearing themselves apart as they side with the Jews or the Arabs. Your feeds are full of the Shinners and West-Brits calling for mass murder one way or another. The following that some of these political parties, media outlets and social commentators have cultivated is looking to them for information, for clarity, but instead what they are met with is disingenuous and patronising calls to arms in support of people who both view Irelands Christians, Pagans and Atheists as either Goyim or Kafir.
Sinn Fein have led the call to arms for Palestine and Conservatives and Liberals have been leading the calls for Israeli revenge. These two stances are ridiculous, have nothing to do with Ireland and are blatantly in the face of our traditional neutrality. Sinn Fein have laid in bed with islamic terrorists, in some cases it must be admitted to some benefit to the cause in the north, but in a lot of cases to the detriment of our sense of self as these groups are marxist and anti-national. The other side of things, consisting of conservative Ireland, Europhilic Fianna Fail and Fine Gael and … Gript. Gript have been navigating a gauntlet as of late but that is not our fault. Their stances are theirs to own. Unfortunately, they have signalled their loyalty to the Alan Shatter fan club in the Dail. With the official left in Ireland all backing Palestine, and official right wing Ireland all backing Israel, the unwitting consumer of content is being drawn into this false dichotomy, emotionally blinded to the fact that they can tell both of these camps to sling their hook.
Like with the Ukraine conflict, people who were genuinely for neutrality and human rights immediately called for a truce and negotiations. Unfortunately, nobody that holds that traditional view of our neutrality are sitting in Dail Eireann. None of the MSM media is autonomous enough to take the stance of neutrality, or even blanket condescension against both sides of the conflict that erupted today. MSM talking heads, including John McGuirk, have come out in full support of Israel. The problem I have with the support of Israel is that there is no reason for it. With the Palestinian support, Irelands republicans have a decades old connection to the Palestinian cause due to the fact the very same British empire that imperialised Ireland, Imperialised Palestine. This process occurred in the aftermath of a letter that was written by Arthur James Balfour to Lord Walter Rothschild, reading as follows:
“Foreign Office,
November 2nd, 1917.
Dear Lord Rothschild,
I have much pleasure in conveying to you, on behalf of His Majesty's Government, the following declaration of sympathy with Jewish Zionist aspirations which has been submitted to, and approved by, the Cabinet:
"His Majesty's Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country".

A territory was drawn on a map overnight, inside the boundaries of which 3000 years of descendants of Palestinians were not informed or included in any way in the plans themselves. No vote was cast by the stakeholders and land owners of the region. Like in Ireland in 1922 ,where our Nation was dissevered by the very same British Zionist Loyd George, so too was the state of Israel illegally forced into existence under his watch. Lloyd George worked as a legal advisor for Theodor Herzl, the founder of modern political Zionism, to help convey British support for Jewish autonomy in Uganda. George, speaking at a zionist event, proudly stated:
“I was Prime Minister of this country when the idea of the Jewish National Home took form as an act of State policy in the Balfour Declaration, and I presided over the Councils of the Imperial Cabinet which gave expression to that policy and secured for it the sanction of our Allies. I was the principal delegate of the British Empire at San Remo where the Mandate for Palestine received its final shape and was conferred upon Britain.”.
As an Irishman, I do not support the existence of Israel. I do not recognise the existence of Israel, it’s legitimacy or the presence of its flag beside our own on the international stage. I hold this position because I hold it to be true here at home that we are a 32 county Republic. The Zionist program of State Religion, of Ethnic Supremacy, displacement and segregation I also cannot support. I cannot support the notion of a chosen people who view me as a slave. These people are ridiculous to me. So too do I find those that support the existence of Israel to be ridiculous and without ancestral-esteem. These people who look beyond our borders with some sort of spiritualistic Stockholm syndrome and support such a project like the Zionist Pogrom of the Palestinians are social climbers of the very worst kind, compromised by their desperation to be brought into those circles of society. They support the very same Zionists that run the Unionist Program in the north of Ireland that continues to displace us to this day. Does this mean that I support Hamas? absolutely not.

This is the false dichotomy. Our position as nationalists is being strained by the fact that the Republican movement in the north has betrothed itself to an equally despicable Islamic State movement. Palestine is a territory that has no connection to Ireland whatsoever. It is thousands of miles away and has been ground zero for tit-for-tat violence for millennia. Hamas, being the Islamic State government in Gaza, has committed the most depraved acts imaginable and for equally as ridiculous of reasons as the Zionists. Rather than pursue justice through its international community of Palestinian sympathisers, Hamas has instead followed the text of the Quran and conducted campaigns of terrorism against Israel.
This direction that they have taken has sullied any support someone like me could have for them. As an Irishman I do have common cause with Palestine and, as a humanist, I can objectively say the Palestinians are right in an overall sense, however they have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory here. They are cowardly and animalistic. They have chosen the tactic of murder, rape and desecration of the women, children and the elderly, parading their naked mangled bodies through the streets and howling like animals as they spit on them and beat their lifeless corpses. Palestinians have devolved into barbarians unworthy of the support they have received here in Ireland. Since the assassination of Yasser Arafat all of the goodwill Palestine had earned has been undone by the actions of lesser men, and people who are not men at all.
Irish Twitter has performed as you would expect as Gerry Adams lead support for a Palestine that no longer holds humanist ideals and conservatives embarrassingly cucked for Israel. The secular Fatah that Adams and the Provo’s supported are no longer in control. They don’t tell you that though because they think you are stupid. The Palestine that is there now is essentially a caliphate that is burning through decades of good PR and affinities with other oppressed peoples. The folks who put up that large Palestinian flag on Black Mountain meant well but there is no excuse in supporting a terrorist organisation who parachuted into a music festival and murdered people indiscriminately amongst a barrage of other questionable attacks against Israel. This is soul destroying to me as a past Sinn Fein voter. It is not just them though, there is an entire island of lazy thinkers here that will accept this dilemma and pick a side, not for one second thinking neither of these entities are are supportable.
It is hard to stomach this widespread lack of pride in ourselves and our own values. As far as I am concerned, Palestine and the illegitimate Zionist junta that was laid on top of it, can paddle their own canoes. Neither Jew nor Muslim will ever respect us because they have belief systems that instruct them to enslave us and they believe this about us from a young age. To entertain a person who supports one or the other is now untenable. I would go so far as to say that it is slave minded. Christianity in Ireland fell foul to these foreign causes and as a result we now have this false dichotomy. In a Republic, you swear fealty to only one nation. our own. In an island nation of ethnically unique Gaelic and Anglo people, we are not comparable with the disparate tribes of the middle east. This mask that marxist and Neo-Con Ireland has tried place over our nation is one of disingenuous sympathy, designed wholly to hand over our nations resources and young people to one cause or another. You betray your fatherland and your people when you fly their flags.
It is clear that independence can no longer be a geographical or political concept alone, it must now also be spiritual and ancestral. We cannot exist as proud Irish people among other nations if we can have our soul and our character wrapped in the flags of foreign Nations. We cannot allow nations at war the freedom to carve up our people with these false dilemmas. We cannot be a Nation of people that can be forgotten in our own country and replaced by, or controlled by these self interested imperialist tribes. These self absorbed sects have for many centuries now, attempted to divert the worlds attention onto themselves. Their fight over the holy land is a product of their own dogmatic making. The truth is Isreal/Palestine is nothing compared to Ireland. We are literally living in paradise and although many of us worship and cherish this place, It is in reality as Connolly said:

Learn your lesson from the past and the present. We are lucky to have to this place. Nobody will swoop in and hand it back to us if we surrender it or lose our grip. We were not backed by America like Israel, nor were we backed by the Palestinians. Although terrorist networks allowed for the procurement of arms, none of these people will ever overcome their own dogmatic self indulgences to think about the Irish they way that they demand we think about them. Ireland is our Israel, our Palestine.
