Ben Scallan Just Committed A Mortal Sin, And Then Lied About It
Vote All The Way Down, if you want to be cool like Ben Scallan
Those of you who read my material will be aware that I have been supportive of Gript but also one of their biggest critics over the last number of years. No longer merely disappointed in Gript, I have now progressed my concern to outright condemnation of their Jeckel and Hyde act with the Nationalist movement. After failing to platform our candidates in any meaningful way, Gript, on the eve of the election, posted a video to their YouTube channel entitled, You should vote (almost) all the way down Irish election ballots. The thumbnail for the video simply states Vote all the way down. Pretty explicit right? Scallan is now claiming that he did not say this at all on Twitter, pointing to a comment made in the video itself about leaving boxes blank only in the case it is literally Satan, and even then he states that you should consider voting all the way down. It is abundantly clear Ben Scallan is telling you to fill out the full ballot here. Well, what Gript have just attempted to do should infuriate all of us on the nationalist front and I will explain why.
Ben Scallan is probably the only reporter in the country that has made it difficult for the establishment in recent memory and has garnered the support and trust of the conservatives in Ireland who view him as a Tucker Carlson figure who can do no wrong. Such is the strength of trust in Ben I am anticipating some flying monkey’s in the comments section here in his defence based on the title of my article alone, which brings me right to my point. How many people will watch his whole video and get to the point where he states that only if it is literally Satan you should leave it blank? Like my article, Gript’s thumbnail title will be all people will read and will immediately form the opinion that it is right (or wrong) and move along. This is because of a known phenomenon in content creation and consumption known as the 80/20 rule. The 80/20 rule states that 80% of people will read a title and move on immediately without consuming the subject matter or the body of the said content. Ok so that is interesting right?
Statistically speaking, 80% of the people who saw that thumbnail just took it on face value. That 80% who saw that thumbnail and continued on without consuming the content, trust Mr. Scallan and likely immediately adopted his advice, even sharing the video among friends and social groups. Even though Scallan explains in the video that he gives you permission to leave boxes blank, he implies that you really shouldn’t, reinforcing the explicit command in the thumbnail to:
“VOTE ALL THE WAY DOWN”
Is this not good advice? The short and long answer here is no it fucking isn’t. I ran in the locals and analysed the ballot boxes from every town and village in my LEA. I got next to no transfers from the establishment party candidates who reached their quota. It destroyed me. They had explicitly advised their voters not mark me down on the ballot whatsoever. I received many phone calls and text messages to confirm that Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael candidates had both been issuing this advice at the doors. This advice was followed religiously as I receive no transfers whatsoever from one of them despite growing up in the neighbouring town. This strategy is employed by the establishment to keep opposition candidates out and it works. It works so well because of a fact that Scallan left out of his video. This fact is as follows. Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael have two candidates each nearly in every constituency. They all transfer well to each other creating a block of votes that occupies at least 4 seats in most 5 seaters, 3 in four and so on and so forth. The fantasy scenario Scallan gives deceives people into seeing their candidates as the first across the line and the rest of the seats will be filled by our transfers. This scenario has not and will not play out in a single constituency. Absolutely every one of the nationalist candidates are fighting for the last seat. Our transfers will not be transferring to others because we have reached the quota. Almost none of us will. All of our transfers will happen because we have been eliminated, leaving only the establishment candidates fighting for the final seat. They are all running with the same globalist agenda. There is no preferred order at this point because all the seats are basically filled, bar the last seat in the constituency which might return one of us. There is no point in allowing our vote to live on after we are eliminated in this scenario.
The nationalist transfer will not decide the order of the other seats. They will already be filled. Scallan did not give you a real demonstrable scenario.
The only thing a nationalist transfer will decide is if the last seat in any given constituency is Independent Ireland, Aontu, Soc Dems or Sinn Fein etc in the event our candidate misses out. All of these parties are openly hostile to nationalism. They have all declared war on us. They are all pro EU and pro immigration. There is no preferred order of these people, period. There is the width of a cigarette paper between them but yet here we see Gript trying to milk transfers out of us for Áontu and Independent Ireland, who they have relentlessly promoted, rather than provide us with a platform to succeed ourselves. Gript knows who their target audience is and who consumes their content. They know Irelands Nationalists will read that thumbnail and stick the Áontu or Independent Ireland candidate number two because of their faux conservative stances. It is the most patronising video Gript have ever released and their have been some doozies.
Now that you, hopefully, can see what snakes have just attempted to do I am going to show you where it gets even worse. Ben Scallan is attempting to obfuscate the intended purpose of the video by claiming he never said such a thing as “Vote all the way down”. Here in this Twitter post Scallan denies that the gist of his video is “vote all the way down”, even going as far as to insinuate that he said to leave the parties you hate the most blank but that is not what was said at all. The hilarious part of this tweet is that Scallan Freudianly asks the tweeter criticising him to “actually watch the video”. Scallan admits here that even he believes no one has watched the video, calling someone a feral ape (synonym of knuckle dragger) for questioning him in the process. Evidence that the 80/20 rule is rooted in the mindset of the man who made this garbage.
This is the type of elitist crap that Gript have draped themselves in for years now. This gaslighting of the movement, their core readership, all in the pursuit of our transfers is about as entitled as it gets. They see our votes as theirs. I sincerely hope all of you voted nationalist/independent only and left everyone of these bastards who think they are entitled to our vote with nothing. The denial of your vote to the establishment, which absolutely includes Áontu and Independent Ireland is an essential IQ test that I hope you passed yesterday. We cannot have these fake options in our ecosystem. If we want Nationalism in this country, those that compete with us for our vote must be challenged and every upstart that acts in the way that Ben Scallan did to help them must be given the the same treatment as a Kitty Holland or Fintan O’Toole. This video was aimed explicitly at the nationalist movement in service to Áontu and Independent Ireland without you being informed. I sincerely hope neither of these two entities get anything from us. We are not the same. Best of luck today to the real patriots who fearlessly went out there and offered Ireland a way out without a single shred of support or objectivity from Grift Media. After the results are finalised and the dust settles, we absolutely need to regroup and decide on what kind of a relationship we are going to have with these people going forward. Gaslighting is an unforgivable sin where I am concerned so Ben Scallan can go and shove his condescending and misleading video up the highest part of his arse.
A baby could see this is stupid advice. It was talked about on Twitter spaces yesterday. I supported Gript in the very early days of my awakening mid 2020, so happy was I to find a news outlet on our side. Over the past while I've gone off them completely. I think they're gatekeeping for the combine. How else is Scanlon allowed access to the politicians for such long questions. Sadly I think we're going to find that there are lots of snakes in the grass on our side and even among the candidates maybe and in the chat groups
100% agree. We need a proper, co-ordinated media platform no matter how this election turns out. Oodles of talent in this country, capable of setting up the genuine article. McGurk has been 'off' for a long while now. Scanlon's voting 'advice' is just more proof of their sleight-of-hand tactics.
